After my initial medical training, I joined anaesthetics in 1995. I was trained in India and subsequently underwent further training in the UK (St George's School of Anaesthesia, London) after moving here in the year 2000. I was appointed as a Consultant Anaesthetist at Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, Redhill in 2009.

Pain management came naturally to me after working in anaesthetics for many years. I received further training in Pain Medicine and obtained my fellowship, FFPMRCA from the Faculty of Pain Medicine (Royal College of Anaesthetists) apart from fellowship in anaesthetics (FRCA). I subsequently went on to obtain the World Institute of Pain fellowship (FIPP). I have now been practising in pain medicine for the past ten years.

I primarily work at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, Redhill. My private practice is at Spire Gatwick Park Hospital, Horley and Ramsay North Downs Hospital, Caterham. All these hospitals are close to London Gatwick airport, the M25 and M23.

On a personal level, I have my wife and two secondary school going children who keep me busy. I am a fan of many sports and activities although I mostly prefer to immerse myself in a computer or a book and attend my local chess club once a week.

My goal is to help people with long term pain to manage it better and improve their quality of life wherever possible.
